Spine doesn't work

Post by cyanzh68 »

We upgraded Cacti from 1.1.37 to 1.2.25 with the recent release of Spine. But no data is polled from devices.
Trying to test on one device and I got the following error:
Capture spine error device 28.PNG
Capture spine error device 28.PNG (62.2 KiB) Viewed 412 times
The SQL mentions column 'threads' in poller table, but there is no such field in cacti.poller table. what is wrong? Thanks!

You must upgrade spine to a 1.2.x version. The 1.0.x and 1.1.x versions are not compatible with the 1.2.x

Spine version is 1.2.26. Cacti database was migrated from the older version. Would it be a problem?

Yeah that should be fine maybe you should run spine and debug mode with the verbosity of three to see what's broken?

./spine -V 3 -S -R

I figured out the problem. We imported cacti.sql from previous database, but the cacti 1.2.25 has changes in some of the cacti database tables (new columns).
Spine is working now. Thanks! :)
